This is a multi-disciplinary conference with a focus on science and technology research. Past topics include remote sensing, space suit sizing requirements, surgical robots for long-term spaceflight, physiological effects on pilots and astronauts, and other NASA related research. All Space Grant & EPSCoR-funded researchers and students are strongly encouraged to submit an abstract. Scholarly presentations of ongoing research working papers/concepts may be given. Alternatively, completed papers may be distributed at the meeting if desired.
Authors should submit abstracts of no more than 150 words, and a brief one-paragraph biography of the presenting author. Please note which author will present the abstract if selected. Be sure to use the Abstract Submission Form, which is due Friday, February 7, 2014. They should be e-mailed to NASA.Nebraska@unomaha.edu.
Accepted abstracts will be published in the Proceedings of the Nebraska Academy of Sciences and on the NASA Nebraska Space Grant & EPSCoR website. Authors of accepted abstracts will be notified of presentation guidelines. Some abstracts may be accepted as poster presentations.
